Great value and easy install

We had just moved into our new home and needed a new over the counter microwave. I did a decent amount of research and found this one on sale at best buy. I was nervous about the install be the directions where great and it was pretty simple if you are replacing an old one. We have had it about and month and we love it. Popcorn feature is cool as are the kids settings. Definitely using more features then I thought I would besides just the regular on and off. Good unit. Recommended.

Cooks evenly and is very quiet

I purchased my OTR microwave in 9/13. This OTR microwave is very quiet. Cooks food thoroughly and evenly. The instrument cluster makes for easy choices. The only draw-back is that the panel require multiple selections for the "reheat" button. You have to look at the reminder sticker on the inside of the door to figure out what number to select. Another plus,is the vent is hidden and pointed upward and works very well. Also comes with a kitchen timer and a bright under mount light that illuminates the cooking surface of your stove below.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, Quality

Best microwave ever!

I have had this microwave for over a year now and still absolutely LOVE it! It cooks fresh vegetables perfectly - slightly al dente - green beans, asparagus -potatoes- perfectly done and all you have to do is choose the setting and the sensor does the rest. It knows what quantity you have of the food item and cooks it perfectly- ells you when to mix or turn over. Also defrosts meat-fish-poultry etc. quickly and perfectly- no cooked edges and frozen centers. I think it's the best microwave ever!!!

worst time with LG's microwave

well this is the forth microwave and another disappointment !! fist three was the one above with the exenda vent and all 3 had a messed up extend vent. Decide to get away from that and now this model's turn table doesn't rotate evenly, the fans (hi - lo - and turbo are all the same speed. In honest the other LG products purchased seem to be fine in my kitchen. If I didn't start with LG I would have changed brands. Or if I started with the microwaves , that would have been the deal breaker. JUST TIRED OF DEALING WITH JUNK AND DELIVERY PEOPLE INMY HOME.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love this microwave!

The first time I heated soup, I used the soup button and when it was done I took it out expecting to have to stir it and put it back in to finish heating but to my delight, it was heated through perfectly and ready to eat! Melted butter and chocolate easily and is great cooking vegetables. Excellent product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this microwave almost 2 yrs ago and it stopped working 4 times. It was a good thing I bought the extended warranty for 3 yrs. They gave me my money back to buy a new one. It won't be an LG.

Stopped heating after 1 year of installation

This model is very low quality, stopped heating after one year of purchase. could smell some burning smell. upon google magnetron could be possible issue and costs good amount of money of technition cost
repair check and inspection is quite expensive than buying new one , not sure what to do with this brick and cost of labor for installation .
