I lost my transmitter and do not know what to do

It works well, but is very difficult to be able to remove the USB transmitter. Also, I lost my transmitter and do not know what to do. I'll have to buy another appliance or sell you just the receiver. Thank you.

For MAC, open battery compartment and flip switch

For those with Mac problems, have you tried opening the battery compartment and then look for the tiny little switch for switching among PC, Mac KN, Mac PPT?
I lost the little radio receiver, does that use Bluetooth and can I use a generic micro Bluetooth receiver for a replacement. I am disappointed that Targus does not show more technical specification details for the receiver such as what Bluetooth version and Bluetooth profiles it uses or if the 2.4 Ghz RF is not Bluetooth but its own proprietary signal.
Pros: backup battery and storage for receiver.
Cons: what if i lose the receiver?

Best presentation remote! This replaces one that I had for about 8 years that the laser ran out of gas on and it works just as well. Good extra buttons for black screen, starting presentation and very intuitive main button design.

This is the third we've purchased. They work wonderfully, but I recommend having a backup for when they don't. The battery cover on one gradually became warped; another began to randomly operate the slide-advance feature; and one...well, it replaced the second one. The first one still works, with rubber bands around it to keep the battery cover in place. For the price, they might be built with a little sturdier casing material. But the three...well, that's how many we've purchased over more than a few years. So, yes, they're that good.

Presentation Must Have

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you do any presentations at all you should get this. It is compact and very responsive. The storage for the USB dongle is built in so you don’t lose it. The pointer stays vivid for as far as you want to stand back. Auto-off also helps conserve the battery power. All in all it is a great tool to add to your laptop bag.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm giving this laser pointer a 4-star rating, because it feels so perfect in my hand. I have another laser pointer that has a green laser, but it is a very thin design. Like a skinny pen. I've lost it a few times.
This red laser presenter from Targus has an incredible form. Like I said, it fits perfectly. The plastic feels sturdy and grippy. And since it's larger, it would be very hard to lose. I like the way it hides the USB connector right next to the battery. Smart design. The connection is instantaneous on my Mac. Plug and present!
The big button in the middle is just perfect. I lights-up nicely with a green ring when all buttons are enabled. There's a smaller "keylock" button on the side that disables all buttons except the main laser, so you won't accidentally change slides. When engaged, the green ring turns red. You can still use the laser, but nothing else.
However, I have 2 issues. I wish the two smaller buttons for Blank Screen and Slide Show on the top were a little larger. They are very small for my big fingers.
My other issue is how the battery/USB cover didn't fully snap back on to the bottom. You can see the gap in the photo. It clicks shut, but then pops open a little. That's no dealbreaker for me. I'll return this one and get another new one just like it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] being a college student and having to present lots of things most of the time, I found this laser presentation remote to be very convenient. I love that I can point a laser at specific parts of my slides to emphasize them and the functionality of this remote is great, one click of a button and I can present quickly. Easy to install as well.
