Three weeks into owning my iPhone 6 with the Symmetry case and the Clearly Protected Vibrant screen shield, I dropped my phone about three feet onto a concrete floor. The phone was playing a video when I dropped it. I picked up the phone, the video was still playing, I saw a spot on one corner of the case where it landed. The spot (material from the floor) wiped off, the phone and case are fine. This is why I am a repeat OtterBox customer.

This is my second iPhone and second otterbox. I had a defender for my 5 and definitely loved how protective it was. I chose the symmetry this time around because I didn't want my beautiful new 6S to be encased in the thick cocoon of the defender. I have dropped my phone once from about 4 ft face down, and it survived that drop, so I feel comfortable enough using this case for daily bumps and drops. I like the lip around the screen - other cases claim to have a protective lip, but I feel this one extends further over the phone hence more protection. I also enjoy how everything fits very snug. Definitely a well made case. Thanks, otterbox!

The Symmetry is Almost Perfect

I have used Otterbox for the last 2 iPhones and have loved their quality and customer service. With the iPhone 6 just released, I was awaiting the Commuter Wallet but to this day it still does not have a release date. So, I decided to get another Otterbox. It was between the regular Commuter or the Symmetry. I went with the Symmetry because of the positive reviews everywhere. The build is solid and with a tight, snug fit...your iPhone feels secure. The buttons are easy and not stiff and the port openings fit Apple and non-Apple lightning cables which to me was important.
Now to my one con...screen protection.
The Defender and Commuter both have screen protectors and was VERY disappointed that the Symmetry does not come with one. When you pay for an upper tier case whose companies reputation is built on PROTECTION, I think a screen protector should have been included and reading the other reviews...I'm not the only one who feels this way. But that's my only con...one that can be easily corrected by Otterbox if they want to. I hope that if I say PLEASE that I can get one of the screen protectors they include with the Commuter sent to me?
I would highly recommend this case for someone who wants protection but not the bulk of the other cases in the Otterbox line. With this case i'm not sure if I need the Commuter Wallet now but i'm positive I would like some screen protection!

I got the case and I was pretty excited about the sleek and modern design. Unfortunately, my screen broke the very first time I dropped my phone with this brand new and (and evidently useless) case. I will not be buying otterbox again.

Great Product, needs more color options

Having owned other otterbox items in the past I can say that I feel very confident in my decision to purchase the Symmetry case. My last case was from another well known company UAG and the design's concepts are similar so I knew I'd love my Otterbox, having never owned a case that's styled this way. I have the iPhone 6 and I couldn't be happier!! The case provides all the protection that I need, it fits like a glove and all the buttons and ports are very easily accessible. I'm not a clumsy person thankfully i rarely drop my phone. I purchased a glass screen protector as well. I just hope that OB expands the color range for the symmetry series or does the design your own option. I'd love to see the case come in Blaze Pink and white!

I have had my Symmetry case for about 3 weeks.
Things I LOVE about it.
Slim, Sleek design wraps around to the front. No sharp edges. It is not bulky at all.
Back of the case is almost solid except for top camera cut out . This allows the phone to fit very comfortable in you hand. This case is SUPER easy to put on. Only 1 piece just pop it in.
If you purchase the Alpha glass screen protector, it fit great and looks nice with this case. I like the anti scratch and anti shatter protection.
Things I LOVE about it.
