I ordered the case the same day I ordered my phone; phone arrived first, but I didn't activate it till I had the case and could put that on. I've used OtterBox ever since becoming an iPhone user, and I can't even count how many times it's saved my phone.
That being said, I'm just slightly nervous with the design of this one. There seems to be less "give" to the underlayer, and it's all in one piece. But I have already had a few rough moments with the phone and it's done its job well, so hopefully my worries are unfounded.
Also worth noting... it's excellent to have a case that adds enough thickness to make the camera lens flush with the back of the phone.

I like that the Otter Box Symmetry is just one piece. Colors are nice too. Pretty easy to install. Snug fit, hope it keeps my phone safe from my many drops! Delivery took a while though.

I returned my Otter box for the following reasons. It's durable enough but wanted a slimmer profile with the shock/drop protection. My previous iPhone case for my iPhone 5 was the Ballistic Smooth Series which I loved because it didn't add any thickness to the iPhone what so ever, it had rubber corners which slightly pertruded out which gave it plenty drop protection for such a low profile case. I know many people liked that case a lot but it seems they aren't making that model for the iPhone 6 plus. A iPhone case for a six foot drop protection doesn't have to be bulky, just extra rubber corners that protect the iPhone. I also would prefer my iPhone cases to have a cut out for the apple logo.

Cons: prefer logo cutout on back.

I've been using my new OtterBox Symmetry case for over a week now, and I have been very pleased so far. It's not the "clunky" awkward protection of other cases, but it's sure not flimsy either. My sleek iPhone 6 still feels quite slim and the colors perfectly match what is shown online. The side buttons are a trifle stiff, but work fine.
I gave it a "good" for protection because it doesn't have plugs to cover the power inlet and headphone jack. The really cheap cover I bought until the Symmetry arrived even had this feature. I knew this case would not have these going in, but decided to purchase anyway. Just saying that this is a deficiency in an otherwise perfect product.
I went with OtterBox because I know a young person (under 10) who has had one of its covers for two years for his iPad. If OtterBox could protect his device as perfectly as it has, then it would have to do a good job for mine!

Cons: no plugs for power inlet or headphone jack.

I love the look of my new iPhone6 but I was very uncomfortable carrying it around without a case. My husband talked me into getting this Otterbox and I'm so impressed with it. Now I feel comfortable carrying my phone around. I also like how it looks on my phone. It's not bulky.
