The Symmetry is the first one-piece case I've used from Otter Box and I admit I had my reservations. Now that I've been using it on my iPhone 6s for a couple of weeks, I love it! Easy on and off (much easier than my 2-piece on old iPhone) and it fits beautifully. Cutouts match perfectly, no problem with OEM or third party charging cords fitting and it has already protected my phone from fumbles. The graphic design on the back is bright and beautiful. Otter Box delivers again, I highly recommend this case!

I had a otterbox commuter case for my iphone 4s, and I loved it. I was thinking about getting the commuter case for iphone 6, but I wanted something less bulky so I can reach my thumb to the apps on the top row, like messages and photos app. Also, other reviews for the commuter case on the iphone 6 said that it's not the right fit for the phone, that the case is a bit too big and loose for the iphone 6. So I decided to get this symmetry. The case feels good, it isn't bulky, and you know it will protect the phone. There is no screen protector, but who cares, buy one separately if you want one. The protection seems good, but the only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it won't protect it like a big case would, like the defender. I'm not planning on hiking or doing anything crazy with my phone, so for my protection needs, this case offers more than enough protection. This case is a must have.

After years of using the commuter version of iPhone cases, I switched it up a bit and opted for this case for my new iPhone 6. It's slim and fits easily in my pocket while still providing a decent level of protection. I've already dropped my phone once on concrete ... hit the corner of the phone and no damage at all to my phone. I'm an otterbox fan, but that aside, this is a really good case.

Cons: a bit pricey

I actually ordered this case before Apple even released the iPhone 6. It's cool that Otterbox was ready to go prior. Fitting the phone into the case was a no brainer and it fit snugly but not sloppily. I like the combination of the two protective materials in one combined fit. The softer silicone interior grabs the iPhone very firmly and seals the edges nicely. The outer material is strong and seems capable of taking heavy abuse. Time will tell but I have a good feeling that the Symmetry will protect my new iPhone 6 even better than the Commuter did with my iPhone 4S.

This is a great slim case for protection against common drops. I'm still able to use my charging dock and dash mount in my car whereas the larger cases would prevent this. Its a bit expensive but of high quality.

This case is a great compromise between protection and minimalism. The case slides easily in and out of my pocket, and the case doesn't add much bulk. I still feel that it does a great job of protecting the phone.
Most refreshingly, the opening around the headphone jack is big enough that every headphone jack I've tried has fit without having to remove the case!
My only complaint is that the case itself is showing some scratches on the back after a week of use. This is certainly not a deal-breaker though.

The symmetry on my old iPhone 5S was my favorite case. It maintained the design of the 5 with marginal added bulk.
The symmetry for the iPhone 6 deviated from that design. The "cushion" material is MUCH more noticeable on the front. It's thicker and flares out instead of curving back in toward the screen. On the 5, it was thin and less "in your face" as it is on the 6.
It's still a very good case but it changes the look and feel of the iPhone 6 to the point where I find myself trying different cases.
Also, the fit and finish aren't up to par with that for the 5. There was excess plastic that wasn't trimmed off properly where the soft and hard materials meet.

The case itself is very good. Gives great protection for the phone body but does not really protect the glass. Had to buy a separate shield for that. Would be nice if came in a package and not a cheap plastic cover, but an invisa shield that is made to protect the glass. Otherwise great case as always!!!
