Great for the price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this microwave a few months because my old one died. I had specific requirements (price, size, color, wattage) and this fit the bill. It took me a little while to figure out some of the features but I'm glad I did. It's a great microwave.

My Frigidaire Microwave FFCE1429LB

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my microwave and use it every day. I love how the buttons are under a plastic cover which makes it easy to clean. The size is perfect for what I cook.
My only concern is that the latch is not easy to open for seniors.

Well Worth the Price

This model replaces our 12-year-old microwave that suffered an electric spike and lost its display capabilities. This new Frigidaire cost us less than the one it replaced. That was nice!
I like this model overall, but I would change one drawback, and I would be willing to pay $10-20 dollars more for this change: The display panel is black and difficult to see unless daylight is in the room. Hence, the 4-Star rating.
If just touching any part of the display area would light it up, say for 2-3 seconds, it would be much easier to program time and power for all the many jobs we give this little appliance. As it is, I have to sort of feel where the Cook time button is, and it's annoying.

Great microwave for the price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose this oven because it has light. You can see the food while it's cooking. Also the light is on whenever the door is open for easy cleaning. It was the right size for my small counter.
