Very loud

I bought this a few months ago and it is honestly the loudest thing and annoying.

Keypad cracked in less than 6 months

Microwave heats food fast. However, the plastic covering over the numeric keypad cracked in several spots in less than 6 months after purchase. The legs on bottom of the microwave were not leveled properly. Overall poor product quality control.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good for the money but little more noisy !

My existing Frigidaire microwave is still good but it is more than 7 years old. Bought the new one with an expectation to have upgraded new technology developed in last 7 years. Everything is impressive except it is louder than the older !!! Unexpected surprise or I might have got the unlucky piece !!

Poor Control Pad Coating

After 3 weeks of use the plastic laminate on the Start Pad cracked. That pad is completely illegible. Also, all the pads are dull and difficult to read in moderate lighting.
Otherwise it works perfectly. It's just not good in kitchen lighting, or people with senior eye sight.

Looks Great, Poor Design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this Frigidaire - FFCM1134LS Microwave nine weeks ago. I bought it to replace my old 900 Watt Microwave that I've had for over ten years. I used it two to three times a day and cooked all of my meals on it. Truly a Great Microwave, and I miss it. I know Frigidaire is still made in the USA so I was sure it would be well designed, well built, and reliable. Unfortunately it sounds like a "Downed Powerline". The Buzzing or loud Hum is unnerving. The Turntable does NOT turn evenly. If I heat a cup of Water, the handle of the cup always faces away from the front of this microwave? I guess the turntable does not turn evenly? I put in an even number: 2 Min., 4 Min, on the keypad and the cup handle is "always" turned backwards which can cause a problem reaching for the cup. This may be a small thing for most people, but being Disabled, this is important to me. My old Microwave would always put the cup handle facing the door. The Key Pad is "Impossible" to see in dim light. I have to use a Flashlight to see the keypad. The door slams hard and loud. In my opinion this is going to cause the door switches to wear out quickly. Microwaves have been around for years, you'd think all of the Kinks would have been worked out by now? This Frigidaire - FFCM1134LS microwave looks great, and works well so far, but I'm not happy with it. In my opinion, look for a better built Microwave.
