Great Microwave Oven for the Price

Works as advertised, but nothing special

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This microwave works fine. Replaced a 20 year old GoldStar (LG) microwave of about the same size and wattage. It's about the same, but falls a little short in a few ways: 1) Door button isn't convenient and feels cheap (GoldStar just had a pull on the door), 2) Other than the "Quick Start" one-touch for 30 seconds, no other one-touch (GoldStar would do 1 minute for the 1 button, 2 minutes for the 2 button, etc.), 3) The finish is already wearing-off the start button (GoldStar went 20 years with hardly even showing its age). The price was right, but it's a shame when you replace a 20 year old appliance and the new one is inferior (but not too uncommon in this day in age).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Use the number keys 1, 2, or 3 to choose the desired minutes of cook time (this option will only work using the 1, 2, or 3 numeric pads.)
