Bad Features as produced.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] my wife and I bought this size microwave in black stainless steel finish because we own a frigidaire electric stove,great product. At home we discovered that unit has three continous loud beeps,which product engineering barely addressed with a turn off function. Product engineering missed the fact that this microwave needs softer beep and fewer beeps when food is done. And most importantly, Set clock time was and is a annoying nuisance,especially finding out the circuitous route of op 4 to get outof power save mode to set clock time.If you have those items preset at least give customer option to cancel them .
The product engineer should be fired for this.
My adivce is to build one unit before assembly and give a couple of employee consumers or other consumers a couple of hours to work the microwave , and then report non-user friendly items for fix. It's like buying any car today and back taillights allow water to collect inside them. This should be problem free with today's technology and engineering specifications, and it is.Also, the instructions given muss the circuitous route to set clock time. Do not recommend this product at this time with these problems.

Thank you for sharing your valuable feedback! We will be happy to document your concerns regarding the options menu and cycle chime. The Power Save mode is typically active upon sale, and can be turned off by pressing the options/clock button four times until you reach Option 4, then pressing start. The display will then toggle between "on" and "off"; when it says "off", press start again. Then you should be able to set the clock as normal and see it on the display. We understand this can be an inconvenient step and are happy to assist!

Sounds like a helicopter

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a few years ago and right out of the box it was very loud, but only every 3rd or 4th time it was used. It sounds like a helicopter taking off. The turntable spins but only the outer edge of the food gets hot so you have to manually spin your dish to heat evenly.

Easy to use, good documentation

The light inside is better than most and makes it easy to watch items being heated. Love it. On the other hand your review form sucks as it overlays the review content box. Get you web developers to fix this.

Clock Setting Issue

Has anyone else had trouble setting the clock? I follow the instructions but the display does not light with the set time.

Wrong size

I was surprised when I got the microwave home and unpacked it to find that the size was so small. So I did my own measurements and math: 13"x13"x9"...that works out to about 0.9 cubic feet capacity. The box and all of the documentation that I found all said 1.4 cubic feet.
As a result, one of the first things that we tried to make, a bag of microwave popcorn, the bag hung over the edges of the turntable and would occasionally get caught on the sides of the oven.
We will probably be returning it. And with the store being 25-miles away....
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
