Forgot to mention that the light should turn on when door open. It's too dark to put food correctly and fast.

Great for the Price

We bought this after moving into our new apartment, and think it's great. Cooks well, and quietly. Love the color scheme and the ease of the programming! Just wish the bottom of the microwave had some sort of roughness on its feet so it didn't slide back when we open or close the door. Other than that, it's great!

Perfect Size

This microwave replaced one I had for about 16 years. The Frigidaire seems a little more powerful and somewhat user friendly. My only criticism of this model is that the keypad is very difficult to see. There is not enough contrast between the writing and the background. Otherwise, I am quite happy with this unit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this microwave about four months ago and already can't read the number 1 due to the plastic overlay peeling away. Also, the turn table is difficult to line and stay in place for rotation.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

As cheap as it is, still not worth the money

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this microwave about a month now. I bought it after the one we'd had for fifteen plus years finally died. After just a couple of days, several of the buttons stopped working including the "4" the "9" and the "Stop" button. The light only comes on when the microwave is running, not when the door is opened like I'm used to. The turntable comes off very easily and I've almost dropped it several times now when I've pulled food out. Also, it's incredibly loud. Sorry I wasted my money on it.

PattyCakes, thank you for sharing your microwave experience with us. Your buttons not working may be related to the power supply. Some microwaves require an electrical connection with 240V. The light and clock portions only require 115V. Check the serial tag to see the voltage requirements. The clock and light working may indicate an electrical circuit breaker supplying the microwave is tripped or a fuse is blown. Confirm household circuit is correct and the microwave is plugged in correctly to a non-Ground Fault Interrupter (GFI) outlet. If this doesn’t apply, or you have any questions, please call our Customer Engagement Center at 877-435-3287 for assistance. Same older model quit working
