The only thing that would make this a better experience with a microwave is if it would have been free. I'm so pleased with this product that I plan to buy another one soon for another house I have.

Works as good as the large microwaves and most of the same features. Preprogrammed settings are a good feature for the elderly

Easy touch pad but carousel issues.

For the price this is a good unit maybe for someone that is OK with little issues. The plastic carousel ring does not fit right and it loud and clunky and glass dish moves a bit. Unit is loud itself. It does do the tick though and the times are consistent with cooking directions and recipes.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
