Microwave Oven could be better

After using this model of microwave, it has some great features compared to units that i have used in the past and some things that could be improved upon.
Pros: When the cycle finishes, if your open the door the signal stops. The interior of the oven is well lighted.
Cons: The microwave is the noisiest unit I have owned. There is a very annoying and loud hum when it is working.
The numbers on the control panel are too dark in color to be seen in dim light. Making them ligher would help a great deal.
When you enter a time for operation, if you don't move quickly to enter the second digit, the microwave will start automatically using the first digit entered as a full minute entry. This is not helpful and should be eliminated.

disappointing performance

Cooking performance is sub par based on my experience with my previous microwave, a Panasonic. The first unit I purchased was defective - it hummed even when not in use and it needed twice the cooking time it should have. The factory replacement I got from Frigidare did not have the scary humming problem but the cooking performance was only slightly better.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

For the most part, I like it

It is not as quiet as my old one, but it does as excellent job of heating. .
Also, the keypad is black, which I DO NOT like. The numbers are very hard to see. Would be nice if the START button was green and the STOP button was red.

everything works fine with it for now, only thing but not a major problem is the light doesnt come on when you open the door you have to actually turn the microwave on in order for it to come on and it is kind of loud but that doesnt bother me
