Works well, but too loud!

We purchased this microwave about 2 months ago and are pleased with its performance and operation. It's just too loud! I have to step back from it because of the noise level.

LOUD!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this a few months ago to replace my other microwave that died. I like the features, and the fact that you don't have to find the book anytime you want to use the auto buttons. Everything is printed inside the microwave for your convenience. The microwave cooks as it should. However, this is annoyingly loud on more than one level. The door does not close quietly. It snaps shut loudly. The turntable and the microwave unit loudly vibrate the entire unit. I knew from other reviewers that this was going to happen before buying it. I just didn't think it would be this scary! Sometimes it starts out rather quiet, but then something kicks in and it gets loud. Just be warned!

Not Good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The unit is definitely too noisy. I bought one and returned it as it was noisy. Replaced it with the same model and it was just as noisy. The black on black button controls are not good - thought I was getting the white as was shown on the box, it wasn't. I'll put up with it for now but definitely dissatisfied.

We show this model as having white lettering on a black background. I wonder if the protective plastic coating is still covering the control board making it appear to not be white. May Look Good but Runs Bad

Had for three months and have to get repair under warranty. Very Loud microwave. Soft key pad does not always work. Turntable design to small for glass and makes bowl teeter tauter and spill. No height to get a cooking size bowl in but it is wide enough to turn a plate. Wish I would have paid the extra there is nothing other than looks for this product.

The support ring for the glass turntable is 8+ inches wide, and the glass turntable is 12+ inches. There should be no teeter totter or wobble when items are placed correctly on the turntable. Please compare the sizes of the parts in your microwave to these dimensions to ensure you were provided the correct parts for your microwave. In a 1.1 cubic foot microwave space is limited, and can be a challenge to get used to. The interior dimensions for your microwave are; height 9-11/16”, depth 14-13/32”, and width 19-27/32”. SHORT LIFESPAN!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Frigidaire FFCM1134LS is the ONLY microwave I have had to replace because it stopped working! My previous generic brand microwave was replaced only because the interior developed an unpleasant odor (the one before that one too), but it still worked flawlessly after 9+ years. This Frigidaire died after about three years of light-medium use.
Despite the loud operating noise and vibration I was pleased with how well the Frigidaire FFCM1134LS microwave worked until... When you open the door, the fan turns on and the turntable starts rotating (would happen very, very sporadically). In addition to that now occurring 100% of the time, when you press start to cook the timer countdown starts but the microwave does not turn on.

Poor design.

Input pad is NOT backlit so to choose options I have to have kitchen lights on bright to read the pad options. Also the bells when the microwave has finished is loud and goes for 5 dings. I want to warm up coffee in the morning without waking my wife, but I have to attach myself to the microwave to shut off the sounds.
