electrical problems

I got the microwave as a replacement for one that stopping running. After having the microwave for 3 months, it just stopping and got extremely hot on the top.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Is the microwave plugged into a GFI (ground fault interrupter) outlet? If so, please only use a non GFI outlet for all Frigidaire appliances. Is the microwave on its own dedicated circuit? Worst Microwave Ever

When microwave is running it is so noisy it could wake up someone. The stainless steel shell rattles, the plastic covering for the buttons cracked within the first month. This has been the shortest lived microwave we ever purchased. The only thing I like about this, is the appearance.

2016 Thanksgiving and Microwave "Not working"

I certainly regret to hear that you are not fully satisfied with your microwave. To make sure that your microwave is using energy efficiently, the light will only come on while it is in use, which is normal. I hope this helps!

Purchased the same model twice and stopped working

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My company purchased two of the same models and both stopped working due to a faulty door interlock switch. We had the first one for like a year and 3 months before it went out and the second one just went out last week. The microwave would still run even after the door was pulled open. I wouldnt recommend the microwave to anyone unless they fix this issue.

Needs Interior light when open door.
