Hey oldman1944, welcome to the Frigidaire family! Most of our microwaves have a protective plastic film over the control panel that needs to be peeled off when installed. Powerful, yet a bit noisy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were surprised at how much noisier this microwave is compared to our previous one. It is noisy while cooking (fan and or heating mechanism?), and also the door latch is a bit stiff/clunky/noisy. In our small home. both noises can be heard in the bedrooms. Otherwise, the oven seems to work well.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
