Good size for me, lighting and shelf space is good

Hi, Sandy1957. I understand your concern regarding the noise. I have some information that may be helpful. Your high-efficiency freezer may introduce some unfamiliar sounds. These sounds normally indicate your freezer is operating correctly. Some surfaces on floors, walls, and kitchen cabinets may make these sounds more noticeable. On pages 12 and 13 of the Owner's manual, there is a list of noises that are considered to be normal sounds. In the event, the noises are different from the list or you are still alarmed don't hesitate to call should you need assistance. Perfect upright

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just bought a new old house and can't justify replacing the side by side fridge yet. It works fine bt the freezer space is too small for our needs. Had chest freezers in the past and knew we did not want that fun again. Bent over with head in freezer rummaging thru ice cold pkgs looking for a particular item - no thanx! Didn't need a huge freezer either. Did lots of research, including on CR and read lots of review. Looked at Lowe's because their extended warranties are so much better than other box stores. All those parameters made the selection of this freezer easy. Perfect size, easy to find everything, bright LED lights, super in sale price, great reviews - all perfect. Love the narrow door bins - great for bags of veggies, frozen entrees, juice cans. I bought inexpensive plastic bins to add to the freezer shelves to compartmentalize poultry, beef, etc. The freezer is out in the garage in south Florida but - so far- has run very little. Has a light "I'm working" light that is easily noted every time we are passing thru the garage. Couldn't be more perfect - not one complaint.

Quiet motor.

Great little freezer!

Found this frost-free model that perfectly fits our needs and are very happy with a number of the upgrades this brought. Great light in the unit. Quiet operation. Easily configurable shelves. We even purchased an additional shelf. VERY HAPPY

Freezer Is Adequate For A Smaller Space

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had a rough time replacing our old freezer because of the area where we wanted to put it. Even though the old freezer was larger than this one. Also it is terribly difficult to get a new freezer around these parts before your frozen food thaws.
Everything is fine with the exception of getting an extra shelf!

Excellent Freezer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our old freezer (20 yrs. old) was taking a nose dive. It ran all the time (very loud and disrupted my sleep) and we had to constantly watch the temperature. So, we decided to buy a new freezer and we did a lot of comparison shopping. We like the features on this Frigidaire – FFFU14F2QW. It has a light on the outside to show that it is on. It has a very bright light on the inside and finding things are much easier. Lots and lots of space on shelves that can be adjusted to your preference. Lots of space on the door. I make lots of soups and sauces and freeze them in individual bowls, so I need space and this freezer provides that. There were several reviewers that stated that it was loud. I don’t find that to be true for us. Our freezer is in a spare bedroom that we converted to a computer/craft/freezer room which is right next to our bedroom. I’m a light sleeper and I never hear this freezer during the night or even during the day. We have a very small house you would know when it was running. Only thing I didn’t like is that it didn’t come with a basket for the bottom of the freezer. But I solved that problem by taken the basket from my old freezer and using it in the new. Works for us.. So far all is well with this freezer and we are very happy with it. Love It!!
