Great garage unit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The unit is compact but spacious inside. It fits our garage perfectly. The interior holds the cold well and the shelving makes for great storage and organization. The door seal is great and things stay frozen well.

Graet deal for the features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have only had it for a few weeks but so far so good. Very uniform temperature control and the frost free works extremely well. The selves are adjustable and we added our own wire baskets to help with organization (i.e all the bags of vegetables in one bin). This also helps us decide when we have too much or need to purchase more. The LED light is very bright and effective in lighting the entire contents. It uses the same amount of electricity as our old, 12 cu ft, manually defrosted freezer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Works great in a Hot garage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this freezer because the old one just couldn't keep up with heat in the garage. This model is the only one we could find that met that requirement, Had it for 3 weeks now and all is well. Not sure if it ever gets to 105 degrees in the garage but sometimes it seems close.

Noisy

Noisy motor. At zero setting takes 25 minutes to cool down. Only stays cold for 45 minutes before motor kicks in again of a 25 minute cycle

These are all normal sounds and soon will become familiar to you. The sounds indicate your appliance is operating as designed. Modern, high-efficiency compressors operate much faster than older models. The compressor may have a high-pitched hum or pulsating sound. Please keep in mind warm air entering the appliance causes it to run more and warm food will cause your appliance to run more until the desired temperature is reached.

Freezer is working out well for the time we have had it. Love the light feature and that it is frost-free. Wish it had an additional shelf. It operates ---- noisy...……...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had this freezer only nine months and the compressor went out. Needless to say, we lost a pile of frozen food and we were very disappointed. Although the compressor is covered by the warranty, we are going to be skeptical about the long term reliability of the unit. Losing another freezer full of food would be very costly and frustrating.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
