Just our size!

I purchased this freezer less than a month ago and absolutely love it! I had a specific space/size requirement that had to be met and this fit perfectly. I did purchase an extra shelf since there is wasted space. I wish Frigidaire offered hanging baskets for under the shelves like they do for the SpaceWise freezers. I will have to find something and make it work. Space utilization is a big deal with me, lol! Also, the inside light is a great feature since the freezer is in the garage. No need to turn on the garage light.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Still waiting for freezer that works

The freezer never cooled. It will be a month and a half before we MIGHT get a freezer that works--thanks to the long wait times involved with Frigidaire. Too long without a freezer. It took 10 days to get a contractor to fix it, who days later said it was too far. Then had 2 visits from another contractor who we had to wait 10 days for the new compressor to arrive. Then that didn't work. Now we're waiting 5 to 7 days for the new freezer to arrive at the store. Then will have to wait for the store to deliver it. A long time with no freezer
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Worked great but only 3 years

Worked great while it was working. Only had for 3-3.5 years and everything inside started to thaw out even though it's still on. Paying this much money for an appliance these days should last longer than 3 years!

We wanted a new freezer and since we already had another Frigidaire product and we've been extremely happy with it we decided to get another Frigidaire products.

Good, reliable freezer

There are no bells and whistles on this model, but I have found it to be relatively quiet and so far reliable. I have had it about 4 months with no issues at all. There is not to much to say about an upright freezer. Unless you have a problem then they pretty much just operate in the background without much fanfare and this unit does just that. The shelves and door space is more than adequate and similar to past units I have had.
The only complaint (and this is pretty minor) is that the door is a little hard to open. When it shuts, it seals tight as a drum (which is a good thing), but when you go to open it, I often find myself needing to hold onto the wall or the side of the freezer to get leverage to open it up. Once the seal is broken, the door swings open smoothly.

Extremely noisy! Would not recommend it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was disappointed by extremely loud compressor and fan noises. Put it in laundry room and you can hear it in family room on other side of house. Service came out and installed a sound insulator to address compressor noise, But the fan noise remains. Fan runs constantly. Service Tech indicated this is normal for this model. I would never have bought this unit if I had know about the excessive noise issues.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
