Good buy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced a 1982 chest freezer that was still working, but wanted this stand up model. It is easy to see items and seals very well. My only complaint is that it runs a lot and is not quiet. I would not want it close to our living space

With the newer high-efficiency design you will experience sounds you were not previously familiar with, with a refrigerator purchased years ago. Please review the Normal Operating Sounds and Sights in your owner’s manual. Your variable speed compressor is designed to run 100% of the time except during the defrost cycle. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this freezer a month ago to replace my old chest freezer. So far, the only complaint I have is sometimes the door is hard to open. I wish it came with a basket on the bottom shelf for smaller things that need frozen. Fortunately, I saved the basket from the old freezer and it fit.

Great Freezer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The freezer was a great buy as it was easy to plug in and immediately I was to place food inside. The inside was large enough for all items also allowing me to see what was in the freezer. Nice exterior as well.

So Far, So Good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been using now for seven months and it’s working great. Not too large—just the right size. My only complaint is the door is very hard to open, but maybe it needs to be that way to retain cold. It’s in the garage so time will tell if it can take the Texas heat.
