Hum it makes not worth it.

I just brought a new Frigidaire freezer to replace the previous one I had for 20 years. I don't mind the slight noise it makes but this one, in addition, has a low frequency hum that is driving my tinnitus crazy. Since my home office is in the same room (no where else to relocate either) I spend at least 8 hours with it. If you have tinnitus I wouldn't buy

I hate to hear your upright freezer is making loud sounds.
Your new, high-efficiency freezer may introduce unfamiliar sounds. These sounds normally indicate your refrigerator is operating correctly. Some surfaces on floors, walls, and kitchen cabinets may make these sounds more noticeable.
Today’s compressors run much faster than in the past. Your compressor may have a high-pitched hum or pulsating sound. For additional information about the sounds your freezer makes, I recommend reviewing the “BEFORE YOU CALL” section of your Use & Care guide page 12.
Should the sound become louder, please give us a call. Our Customer Care Team will be happy to assist you further. We can be reached at 888 203 1389 and available Monday through Friday from 8:30am-8pm EST.

The 'COVID' Outbreak

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've purchased the upright Frigidaire Freezer and I love this product during these times of the "Coronavirus (COVID-19)" by having the backup freezer it allows us to prepare for hard times and store foods that it may get worse, storage of all types of meats and vegetables. this product is the best type freezer i've ever purchased, I recommend this Frigidaire to everyone.

Just what I wanted

Our very old chest freezer finally gave up. I knew I didn't want another chest and we didn't need such a big one. I don't have to defrost it and I wanted a light. I was tired of finding a flashlight to see what was in there! It is also an energy saver.
I would recommend this to a friend!

After replacing a 37-year-old freezer this is perfect.
I am disappointed that there are holes available for one more shelf but it was not included with the freezer. When I called about it you are unable to get a shelf. They felt it had to be installed during the assembly of the freezer. That is the only negative thing I can say about this.
