Noisier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This freezer replaced my 10 yr. old Frigidaire freezer. It's much louder and runs more than my previous Frigidaire. Don't know why.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Awesome .. simply love my freezer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our freezer had gone out n we bought this smaller one .. we are so happy we did as we are empty nesters .. I found myself opening it up just to say this is a nice freezer .. haha .. did I mention you can hardley hear when the compressor kicks in

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i bought this on sale, at a good price. seems to freeze and hold temperature well. however, when it is running, this is the noisiest appliance I have ever owned, door is extremely hard to open. would not recommend it

Hello, Roadapple! We understand the importance of an easy functioning freezer. I will be more than happy to assist. There is some information regarding sounds and noises that you can typically experience while the freezer is in operation. This can be found on page 12 of your Owner's Manual. When the freezer door is opened, warm air rushes inside. Once the door is closed all the warm air rushes to the evaporator which causes a vacuum. This will cause the door to be hard to open for about 10 to 15 seconds after closing. Should you need any assistance, please call our Customer Care Team at 1-888.203.1389 Mon-Fri 8a-8p EST.
