Works well but is very noisy for me. Runs a lot

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought several months ago for all the fishing & gardening planned. Also for overflow from refrigerator. Not overly impressed. Does the job but very noisy & seems to run a lot.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Most of our new appliances are designed to save energy, these units are equipped with low energy consumption fans and compressors that have longer run times. With your new freezer, modern, high-efficiency compressors operate much faster than older models. The compressor may have a high-pitched hum or pulsating sound. These are all normal sounds and soon will become familiar to you. The sounds indicate your appliance is operating as designed. Hard surfaces, such as vinyl or wood floors, walls, and kitchen cabinets may make sounds more noticeable. Cord Way Too Short

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the freezer a lot. However, the electrical cord is way too short. Most of tn these freezers in homes with no basements are in the garage Where we place them is not always right next to an outlet. Had an older Frigidaire model with sufficient cord length. I would have given a higher rating if not for the hassle you caused me in the rearrangement of my garage to place the freezer next to an outlet.

Good features for the purchase price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good product. Need accessories specific to this freezer model. Make the power cord longer for hard to reach electrical outlets. I had to hire an electrician to install a new electrical outlet as the power cord was too short to plug in once freezer was delivered.

Sufficient for my needs

Inherited my folks freezer that was many years old and finally quit working properly; so I replaced it with this one. Has been working well.

Finally working

Bought this unit in March and it worked until May. After which this freezer would only cool items not freeze them. I called Frigidaire and they sent someone out to fix the issue. They ordered a part which came in the following week and then they were able to get it working. So far no other issues

Nice freezer, lots of room and spacious

I have had this freezer about 6 months and absolutely love it. Open the door and the light comes on. Lots of storage for what ever you need to freeze. Love it. The price was the best in all that I looked at. Frigidaire knows how to make a freezer.

Spacious and Quiet - Great Buy!

I bought this freezer in June 2015. So far the family loves it. it is very spacious and has many shelves and pockets in the door for variety of storage capability. I was originally planning to buy a Chester Freezer, but I am glad I did not because I have heard from few that it is difficult to store and remove from them. I hope this one I bought last a long while. Plus the lock on the door is a good option to keep the kids safe.

I've always been a Frigidaire fan, having had two of their refrigerators in my life, so when I needed to replace my freezer the brand choice was a simple decision. This freezer looks great, works like a charm and is easy on the electricity bill. I totally love it.
