[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and I had a smaller Frigidaire that was an 8 cu.ft. freezer that was not frost free for over 34 years and never had one repair call for it.. It more than served it's purpose over the years and 3 home moves. It was still running when the new 13.8 cu. freezer arrived . We wanted a larger freezer that was also self defrost. We are very happy with this new Frigidaire freezer. It has way more storage space and a great dome light to see all our stored items..We keep our freezer in our garage and it is very accessible even with our parked car included. We bought this freezer based on the fantastic overall reliability we received from the old freezer over 34 yrs. old. We also have a very reliable electric stove for the past 5 years. Frigidaire will always be our first stop for all our future appliances.. Angelo and Maxine Ferricane

Decent Freezer for garage

This is a simple upright freezer that does the job needed. The freezer is somewhat loud at times, but it is not an issue since it is located in the garage. It is an uncomplicated machine that we expect will not develop the type of problems that can be encountered with units with computer circuits.

Large Capacity but noisy!

The internal fan is quite loud. I have it in the basement and I can hear it run all over the house.

Good unit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had this for a few weeks now in our laundry room. It replaced an 8 yr old chest freezer we were tired of digging through. Seemed a little loud at first, especially compared to the super quiet chest freezer, but we're used to it now. Holds a ton, gets super cold and has a bright interior light. The storage bins on the door are a great feature. Another adjustable shelf and a basket would've been nice, but it's ok the way it is. Love not having to pull everything out to rotate our meat anymore! It is deep, so check measurements; it caught us a little off guard when we got it. The one thing that truly bothers me is that I didn't realize the door isn't reversible! All in all a good buy if you catch it on sale and the extended warranty isn't that much for the added peace of mind, considering the factory warranty really isn't impressive.

Does what a freezer does and perfectly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replace a similar freezer that was 15 years old and failing. The new Frigidaire is much more energy efficient, has a inside light and a power indicator. Great improvements.
