Noisy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this upright freezer about 2 weeks ago and is almost constantly making noise. My refrigerator and former freezer never make or made noise. I had someone come out and of course, the freezer then had a period of silence and he could not find anything the matter. Not that happy with this freezer at this point.

I am sorry to learn your freezer is making loud sounds. Your new, high-efficiency freezer may introduce unfamiliar sounds. These sounds normally indicate your freezer is operating correctly. Some surfaces on floors, walls, and kitchen cabinets may make these sounds more noticeable.
I am glad to learn we were able to schedule a diagnostic visit to your home with an authorized service provider, and the tech was able to address your concerns about the performance and maintenance of your freezer.
Today’s compressors run much faster than in the past. Your compressor may have a high-pitched hum or pulsating sound. For additional information about the sounds your freezer makes, I recommend reviewing page 11 of your Use & Care guide.
