Defective

Bought Oct 13, delivered on 15th and returned within 15 day return policy. If you opened door and tried to reopen it again, could not. Both myself, husband and tech repair could not pry it open.

Hi, Rmk52! Thank you for taking the time out to share your feedback with us. Freezers require strong seals to prevent the cold air inside of them from escaping. Rubber seals on edges of the door help to form a suction with the base of the fridge to keep the door tightly closed. You can reducing the vacuum created by the door placing more food inside. The vacuum gets stronger if there is more open air inside of the freezer, filling it with additional items helps reduce the suction.

Wish it wasn't so loud

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had my freezer for about a month. I like the inside arrangement and it freezes items quickly. What I don't like - when the compressor motor is running, it is very loud. If it were inside my kitchen rather than in the garage, that would have been a deal breaker.

It does freeze food.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this a few weeks ago, and have had no real problems with it. However it seems to run a lot more than our old one. It is also considerably more noisy. Also note that the door cannot be swapped from right to left hand opening as can be done with other brands, and most refrigerators.
