Noisy - like airplane taking off!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This freezer makes an unacceptable amount of noise. Service came out and said it is the fan and there is nothing that ca be done. Technology is Available to make fans silent/quiet. I have silence on my dishwasher and bathroom fan! Service man said he gets many complaints about the noise from this freezer. I do NOT RECOMMEND. I would like to return this freezer for credit.

With your new appliance, modern, high-efficiency compressors operate much faster than older models. The compressor may have a high-pitched hum or pulsating sound. These are all normal sounds and soon will become familiar to you. The sounds indicate your appliance is operating as designed. Hard surfaces, such as vinyl or wood floors, walls, and kitchen cabinets may make sounds more noticeable. Working great so far

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this about three weeks ago and brought it home ourselves. Pretty easy to handle and get set up. It does appear to run a little bit on the loud side, but it is in the garage so not a big deal for us. Looking forward to lower costs compared to our old freezer.

Perfect Size

Plenty of shelves, easy to organize my meat, and I love that it has a metal handle, not a cheap plastic one. So glad I chose this freezer, it is exactly what I was looking for.
