Door difficult to open and only three shelves

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you try to open the door twice in a row, the second time will be extremely difficult because there is a vacuum seal after opening the door the first time. The problem with this design is that it is extremely difficult to open the door the second time. The other deficiency of the unit is that there are four locations to install for shelves, but Frigidaire only provides three shelves. Other than these two deficiencies the unit functions extremely well.

Hello, Mazoc78. Thank you for sharing. When the freezer door is opened, warm air rushes inside. Once the door is closed all the warm air rushes to the evaporator which causes a vacuum. This will cause the door to be hard to open for about 10 to 15 seconds after closing.
Also, the freezer does come with three shelves and has the option of a fourth shelf which is sold as an additional accessory.

The perfect freezer!

The door shelves.

The size that would fit in the space available

The compressor may have a high-pitched hum or pulsating sound. This model will produce different noises and sounds depending on what component is being used.
