Do not buy

This freezer stopped working after less than 3 months. While repair may be covered under warranty, there is no remedy for the spoiled food. I am out hundreds of dollars worth of meat. Very, very unhappy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Just what I needed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm very happy with my freezer. I needed a freezer because the freezer in my refrigerator just wasn't enough space. The primary reason I bought it was the Frigidaire reputation but secondarily it was the perfect size. I didn't want a chest-type freezer because I've had one before & items get lost. A lot of the uprights I saw were huge & a lot more than I needed.

Room freezer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this freezer a month ago. It got down to temperature very quickly and I love having a light! It's very quiet and doesn't run nearly as much as my old freezer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this freezer and use it in my garage. I am very happy with its performance. I live in Florida and it is July - 95 degrees every day in my garage.
I would have given 5 stars except I had to purchase an additional shelf from Frigidaire. I suggest they include this extra shelf.
It is good value and also MADE IN THE USA
