great for the garage

I bought this freezer one month ago. It fits perfectly in our garage and is running great. I have enough room to put everything I need into it. It is not noisy at all. I like the frigidaire freezer so well that I now plan to buy a frigidaire refrigerator to replace the frigidaire that I have had for twenty four years.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The freezer is very noisy when running, the evaporator fan noisy and vibrates We could hear it run in our bedroom, living room even when the T.V. is on. The freezer is in the basement where the old one was. When I would put frozen meat pkg against the back wall it would help, but noise comes and goes, so I went and bought a piece of rigid foam insulation 1 1/2 " thick and glued and taped it on the back exterior of freezer this helped so now we don't have to hear it when laying in bed at night trying to go to sleep.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Just what I had been wishing for ,

Forced into having a small size refrigerator due to the constraints of where it has to fit within the built in kitchen cabinets, I have been longing to have a free standing freezer to accommodate sale food purchase and storage for freezing cooked items. This freezer, while bigger then I might need, met my requirements for an upright from a reliable company with the ability to live in a cooler part of the house, and be frost free.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We bought this smaller freezer to supplement our regular side by side. We can take advantage of supermarket sales for groceries we didn't have room for now. It really works great for us. We love it~
