Confidence in brand

I had a Frigidaire freezer that survived 2 floods, one where it was floating! It lasted 10 years after that and gave me great confidence in the brand. Si when it finally went to freezer heaven, Frigidaire was the only brand I wanted to look at.

Just OK

I have had this for just over one month and called for repair after 3 weeks when I noticed noticed how often the appliance ran. When the repairman came he told me that is normal for them to run that often as much of 70% of the time. He assured me it is still very energy efficient. That remains to be seen. Is also noisy which is likely why I noticed how often it is running. Might be something the buyer is informed about prior to purchase.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Yikes! Kayt, your new freezer’s modern, high-efficiency compressor may have a high-pitched hum or pulsating sound as it operates much faster and longer than older models. You may also hear boiling or gurgling from the evaporator; as well as hissing, sizzling or popping noises from the defrost heater. Pages 12 and 13 in your Owner’s Manual have more information on normal sounds. Your friendly Frigidaire lady, Ruth

Works fine but very loud. I can hear it running while i'm watching tv. Annoying. Also meds more shelves.

I wasn't pleased with the opening on the back of the freezer, motor and copper tubing is exposed.It is exposed 6 - 8 inches from the bottom. Also there is not a full bottom on this freezer. It runs alot, but I guess that it because it is frost free. Other than that it is nice looking and so far working well.
