I loved my crockpot because I can cook a whole meal at one time and have it ready when we are ready for it.
Pros: ready when we are, prepare whole meal at one time

Great Basic Crockpot

This product is very dependable. I have many slow cookers in my home but I always go back to the old standby type. I cook roasts and vegetables in this with a good result and because it is a crock pot you do not have to slave over a stove and your house is not hot in the summer.
Pros: simiple to use
Cons: shape may need change if you have a chicken.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We both work all day and it is so easy and comforting to prep our meal in the morning and come home to a hot, delicious perfectly cooked dish. And the clean up is so easy also.

I bought this by look at the color on the box. My wife loves the color orange. The box was pretty orange. It said it was cinnamon. But I'm a guy. I go by pictures. Wife is happy with the function. But I'm annoid the box is not representative of the color.

I am just now getting around to using the Crock Pot today to make some Hawaiian Chicken. The only thing that I can see is that it needs about another foot of cord on it. I like it otherwise.

Great unit but.....

This unit works quite well for cooking up a small soup and/or casserole. Was going to use it today and, noticed where the cord enters on the bottom the wire is exposed. There is no strain relief on this cord and, if it had a right-angle cord bend in it, it wouldn't have split open. When you set the unit down, the cord has to bend and, it's cracked open now. And, there’s no recall on this. Not a good thing. Just glad my mother did not electrocute herself while moving this last week!

Added this to my arsenal of larger Crock-Pots, this one ready to tackle a smaller meal, as will be handy for our camper cooking. Love the cinnamon color, surprised that it is actually a pretty metallic finish, not evident to me in the online photos. Looking forward to filling it in the morning, leaving for a day of fun and returning to a camper supper ready in the evening.
