What's great about it: The price
What's not so great: You get what you pay for
The flexibility of this seemed ideal - it could work for both my wife's phone as well as my own in the car. It's adequate in the car, but the suction cup is tempermental. It claims it is great for use on a bike as well. Let me assure you, it is most definitely NOT. My phone has has fallen out of it at least a half-dozen times. I even went so far as to put a rubber band around the phone - when I did, the ENTIRE bracket fell off! And I am not a moron - it was securely tightened and installed properly.
I will be taking it back and hopefully be able to exchange it for something better, like an arm band. If you want this for your car, it's OK. Definitely avoid at all costs for a bike, unless you want to be buying a new phone.

What's great about it: Price, ease of setup, adjustable settings
I love this thing. It is super secure, I haven't had any problems with shaking, and it never drops my phone (even driving on dirt roads and over speed bumps). I highly recommend it if you are like me and fed up with a cheaply made, low quality holder for your phone. Adjustable arm and holders work perfectly with my HTC Amaze.

What's great about it: versitile, and strong
This is the most versitile mount that I have found. I'm able to take it from my tractor trailer to my jeep without problems. I have been using it for a month now and my HTC Thunderbolt hasn't fallen out once, even boucing though the roads in Brooklyn in my tractor.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I purchased this unit to view GPS and traffic data on my iPhone. The app works best when the phone is in the horizontal position. Unfortunately, the ribbed grips do not hold well. The phone would slip out of one end of the mount whenever I took a turn.

What's not so great: cheap plastic
Pros : Great price on this. Holds phone securely and the choice between using vent clip or window mount is nice.
Cons : The arm doesn't lock very solid, tends to dance around. Easy fix is to just make sure it rests on the dash somewhat.

What's great about it: Everything
What's not so great: Kind of hard to store in the vehicle when not being used.
So some people are complaining that the thing moves... Of course it will move, when your vehicle moves, it is going to transfer the vibrations to anything attached to it, you don't want it to move, replace your shocks. Additionally, it moves around because it is at the end of a long shaft, these things happen. My satellite radio bounces around more than this, I've also noticed that it's easy not to tighten the neck all the way, which can cause vibration. Best way to eliminate all but the worst vibration is to touch a small part(Such as one corner) to something solid like the dash. Just drove 600 miles from Salt Lake to Phoenix, and got every bit of my $25 price out of this thing, the biggest problem I have it getting my Incredible to sit just right in the dock, minor issue that will become second nature eventually, otherwise I wouldn't change anything.

This device looked good in the packaging and prompted me to purchase. It appeared to have the features I was looking for only to find that the operation and construction of the device was horrible.
After less than 5 months, the suction cup disconnected (broke) from the attach/release rod. This caused the entire arm to move all over the place. In addition, the holder for the device was very difficult to adjust and find/maintain the proper compression.
I am returning this to Best Buy since it is still under warranty to hopefully find a product which better suits my requirements
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What's great about it: Suction cup will never let go, and the part that holds the phone has a firm grip.
What's not so great: Really long arm made positioning difficult in my vehicle. Arm is also rather shaky when in motion.
I bought this mount to use with my EVO 4G for GPS / music in the car. What I found was that the arm between the suction cup and the phone holder has a few problems. It's very difficult to bend and manipulate to get it set the way you want it. Also I like to mount my GPS high and to the left of the rear view mirror but this arm is so long it was either hanging half way down the window or it was sticking in my face. I eventually tried mounting it behind the mirror with the GPS hanging just slightly below the rear view mirror which worked OK. As difficult as the arm is to bend into the right shape it is unfortunately not very "stiff" when riding and causes the device to shake and vibrate a lot, not enough to cause motion sickness but close.
On a positive note, it has one of the best suction cups I've ever seen. It takes a bit of effort to lock it on but once it is, it is not coming off. The phone mount portion of the device also clamps down rather solidly and leaves the camera uncovered on the back of the EVO if that interests you.
Mine went back to the store to be replaced by something that better suits my needs but maybe you'll like it better than I did.

This is a nicely designed unit with a long arm for positioning your smart phone in a convenient location. However, the suction cup is difficult to seal onto the windshield and doesn't stay in place, particularly if you have to adjust the rather stiff arm. I tried the vent mount, but that did not work well at all on my car.

What's great about it: Perfectly adaptable
I was looking for a windshield mount for my G1 Android smartphone for a while, and was having difficulty finding one that could easily hold the phone (which has a belt-clip on the back). I was skeptical about getting a generic BestBuy one, thought I could find a lower price online, and was surprised that the store only had one model in stock, but I gave it a chance and bought this one.
I was very pleasantly surprised - it works very well, is extremely easy to use and setup. They only had this one model in stock -- but that's all you need. It has a vent mount AND a windshield mount, so whichever you need, this product has it. It has very nice rubber "fins" to hold the phone in place, so you can slide it in and out easily, but it still holds the phone very securely (and mine is fairly heavy). The windshield suction is so strong that you can easily adjust and bump the unit without knocking it off.
My compliments to the design engineers!
I would recommend this to a friend!
