Ice maker crapped out

Fridge works just fine, but the ice maker quit at less than a year old. We didn't report it soon enough (was trying to get it to work by unplugging, etc. ourselves) so now the store where we purchased says it's out of warranty. How convenient!

Bought this fridge in October and this is the 3rd time it has stopped working and all the food gone to waste. I wouldn't recommend this fridge to anyone.

Minor nuisances

Beautiful unit. For the most part, works well. But has broken in two ways:
1.) The ice dispenser only does crushed now.
2.) The bottom veggie pantry has humidity, causing my vegetables to rot sooner.

Not so good

Looks pretty!
Ice dispenser continues to dump cubes after you stop pressing and remove cup.... then a lot of ice cubes tumble to the floor leaving a bid mess to clean. Happens frequently.
On Christmas morning my daughter discovered something had spilled on the top shelf in the refrigerator.... only to discover upon further investigation a tonic water GLASS bottle that had been in the back left corner (apparently too close or touching the freezer side) and not only frozen but glass burst. What a huge mess of broken glass and tonic water that was on the shelves, dripped down and didn't freeze..... Thus do NOT like this Frigidaire nor would I recommend. I actually prefer Frigidaire to contact me to replace. It's only 4 months old.

Lemon.

Yep, we got one. For starters, the factory didn't put the magnetic seals on correctly and the fridge and freezer never closed properly. Now, after less than a year of ownership, we woke up this AM to discover the entire fridge has stopped cooling. What a mess. I think it goes without saying that we're highly disappointed.

Some noise, some quirks, but good

When we unpacked the fridge the control panel was hanging off and needed to be re-stuck back onto the door. (It's held on by a sticky surface). Every couple days it kept coming loose and we would keep pressing it back into place. We finally called for warranty service to replace the panel. A nice repair man came out for free and replaced the entire panel and now we can go three or four days before we have to press it back on. Maybe superglue would fix it?
This fridge makes so many different noises when it runs that the manual has an entire page devoted to explaining what each sound is and why it makes them. Most of the time it just sits there quietly so once we got used to the sounds they don't bother us any more.
Even though it is "cabinet depth" and not full size it seems to hold just as much as our old fridge did so we are happy.
There are two things that bother us about this fridge, (besides the control panel that won't stay on). The first is that the water that is dispensed from the door isn't chilled but comes out room temperature. The second thing is the ice dispenser. When it dispenses ice from the door you had better be ready or you will have a floor full of ice. Make sure you have a wide glass and hold it up as tight as you can.
I like the digital temperatures displayed on the door and the ease of changing the settings.
Overall we are satisfied but next time we fridge shop I might have a few more items to ask questions about.

handles too large

I just plugged in this model. It is 36"wide. My space is 38. The Fridg door does not open far enough to open any drawers. No where in specs does it say the space needs to be at least 8 inches wider than fridge. This is 8 inches of dead space between wall and fridge. My kitchen cannot handle it. It will fit no where else. It is unfair marketing to withhold that vital info.
