Nice looking but noisy

We ordered our fridge sight unseen, except for online photos. There's 2 gigs I can give this fridge: the unusual noises it makes and the lower refrigerator door shelving. I guess we get what we pay for.
Sounds: In the manual there's a whole page listing all the sounds and what they are for. Wish I'd have looked into more reviews before purchasing. The long, but distant, sounding tug boat horn sound is the most frequent - a soft sound, but loud enough I can hear it from 2 rooms away. And occasionally there's a loud flutter that actually scared the tar out of us one evening. It sounds like the little 4th of July fireworks that a kid lights on the ground that spins round and round, making a fft-fft-fft-fft noise. Really??
Refrigerator Door Shelves: I didn't realize the bottom shelf would only fit something as small as juice boxes, which is exactly what it is designed for. Even a bottle of hot sauce is too fat. Not too many items will fit there, for our usage. The next 2 shelves up from the juice box shelf on the door are for something to lie flat, like soda cans, which holds 3 on each shelf. Kinda wasted space for my liking. And the door on the refrigerator side keeps dropping down about 1/4 inch when there's weight on the door shelves. I don't even have a milk jug on the door and it drops. But there is a page in the manual and a tool provided to explain how to raise the level of either door. I'd never thought of seeing the top alignment of doors not being even before this.
It's a bit disappointing that Frigidaire isn't better at noise control. My old fridge didn't have a 10th of these noises.
And if you like ice water this isn't your model. It dispenses chilled water. Shoulda done my homework before purchasing this model! :(

Fits Great

I have had this frig about 6 weeks, fits the space perfectly. The ice maker is a little noisey. The door handle on the frig side is a little loose; I don't see any way to fix this. Very dissapointing.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Calling today to complain

I bought this model 5 months ago and the front panel where you select the ice or water function is falling off. It also has a drawer inside that after all these months still refuses to open and close smoothly. Not a happy woman.

The size is great and gets cold quick. We have it in our fifth wheel travel trailer and within a week the freezer fills up with frost. so much that when you open the door, frost falls out on the floor. We had it looked at and was not fixed. also the control panel cover is falling off.

We do recommend doing a simple inspection of your gasket by slipping a sheet of paper or a dollar bill between the door edge and the frame edge, then close the door. If you can move the paper or dollar bill easily out of the door, this is another indication that your gasket is not sealing properly. Good solid fridge

We have had our new Frigidaire for two months. For the most part I love it. The little plastic deli tray squeals terribly when pulling in and out for some reason. The crisper drawers do not. I am hoping that something will wear and it will get over it. Also, the ice dispenser does not always stop when you release the lever, so sometimes you get an extra glass full of ice cubes out on the floor once your glass is full.

A lot of money for a sub-par product

When my new refrigerator was delivered the doors were uneven. The guy that Frigidaire sent out RELUCTANTLY adjusted them (saying that he normally doesn't do that). I told him that since the time I called for service, I found that I was unable to open the drawers. He refused to even TRY to open them, saying that there's no fix for it...IT'S A DESIGN FLAW.
I had to call a neighbor to wrestle the drawers out. I put some paraffin wax on the runners. I was then able to open them...for about a month...then they started giving me trouble again. Also, the ice dispenser spits out cubes after I've walked away. Being disabled...this is NOT the amount of maintenance that I was looking for. I had bought four (4) Frigidaire appliances at the same time (2 months ago). The brushed texture of the stainless steel on this refrigerator is in a different direction than that of the wall oven (which DOES NOT HOLD IT'S TEMPERATURE) that is on the same wall...making them look like different colors.
I wish I'd never heard of Frigidaire.
