Very Happy With Epson Powerlite 5030UB

We purchased the Epson 5030UB to be a dedicated projector for a newly designed home theater with a 120" screen. The projector was easy to setup and mount. The 5030UB provides an excellent image with deep blacks and plenty of color. The only negative is the projector is a bit louder than we expected. However, when you are watching on the big screen with a sound system you do not detect the noise. With that said the projector is still receiving a 5 star rating from us because everything else is excellent.

I have experimented with several projectors over the course of six months. I have had benq 1070,epson 3500,epson 3020, optomo hd 141x, and epson 5020ub. This projector has had an obvious picture quaility upgrade from all the projectors i have tried and several i demoed in the theater store, such as sony vpl-hw40es. I found this projector to have better color and just an overall cleaner lines and more picture wow factor. Cant image how the 5040 is any better but it is. Love epsons home cinema ub series projectors

We have a 4K T.V sitting unused for the most part , because even though this is not 4K. It has that move experience you can't get from a flat screen T.V. We use it in a normal living room environment. With the walls being white it still shows great blacks!
So just out of the box set up and view. This was a happy purchase!

Great Projector

This projector was a home theatre updgrade from an old epson projector that lasted over 8 years and it a world of difference.
The picture quality is awesome! 3d is theatre quality. Only issue is the high pitched buzz that occurs intermittently.
