[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this April of last year and I must admit that I love the interior, it keeps my vegetables fresher than any refrigerator I have ever owned in the past. I like that it has an alarm that let's you know that the door is still opened. Cannot not say too many good things about the exterior though, scratches easily and has marks on it already (discoloration) that will not come off.

Not only are LG optical drives the best looking, most reliable, fastest and hands down the ABSOLUTE best for system builders like myself, they always come with prebundled software for burning and DVD playback! Who could ask for anything more? I only recommend the use of LG brand computer components when LG is a choice. I hope LG expands to other product lines with computer components in the future!

I love The New Lightscribe Feature. I installed the free lightscribe Software from Lightscribe.com. everything works great, No problems with anything.

My #: GE24LU20 external DVD Lightscribe burner was a Christmas gift from my wife. I had always wanted one and did a great deal of research on what was the best one. This model LG burner was rated as one of the top onest. Once I loaded the software and bought some lightscribe DVDs, the rest, after some trial and error, was rather easy to figure out. The drive burns quickly for all kinds of tasks. The lightscribe feature produces clear results and hasn't failed me yet. I do wish someone would produce reliable and affordable double layered DVDs. I would highly recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this about 2 months ago and it handles burning and ripping of music CDs very well. The software package is very good too!! I need a workhorse cd burner and player because I have over 790000 songs in my collection!!

I haave tried many external drive and I have never had one perfform so flawlessly good.
Also the lightscibe works better than my other sources.

LG External Burner & Lightscribe

I bought this burner so that I could convert my family VCR's on to DVD's and make copies for other family members. It is working great. I am a little bit dissapointed in the lightscribe part of it as I guess I thought it would do a better job and it seems to take a long time to finish one. Otherwise the burner is great. Thanks
