Should have bought this in the first place.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fast and quiet, and it worked perfect the first time I used it to make DVDs from old recorded home VHS tapes. I had been struggling for two months trying to get the right program to work. It turned out the cheap external optical drive I bought previously was outdated and useless. Admittedly the first capture program I purchased was cheap and useless also. I was able to send that back.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for my new HP desktop PC. Works great and I love the tray loading feature. New PC has laptop type DVD disk, which you must snap disk onto center of drive. Seems flimsy, tray loading much better. Works fine for Windows 10 no drivers needed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 2 of these burners and neither of them work with Nero to burn videos I create. Getting an error at the end of the process of burning thru Nero and I can't make them work anymore. Not of use to me at all.
