Disappointed

The price is nice, but the performance is a big disappointment. If you don't like the Windows 8 OS, this is definitely not for you. Features and settings are difficult to find; screen rotation rarely works. On screen keyboard--again when it works--is a complete disaster. I'm a fan of most HP products. This is a rare exception.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Small, great screen, and fast

Purchased the HP Stream 8 to compare to my HP Laptop and to determine if would replace the Laptop. As a Windows 8.1 unit, it cperformed flawlessly and did all functions faster, with better screen clarity. For me, It was found to be a great replacement for the Laptop.
I would recommend this to a friend!

does not work the same as my laptop. I like windows 7 this is windows 8 even with a keyboard I find this product not easy to use. my husband bought it for me when my android tablet died...just not comfortable with it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

poor product design

windows eight is not user friendly, very frustrating to use. On top of that the battery got hot after very little usage and the tablet stopped working. I would never , ever buy any device with windows eight on it.
