I don not recommend this dishwasher!!!!!!
After getting all new Samsung appliances, this dishwasher looked great and we were excited to replace our 13 year old unit with it. After using it two times, we found both upper & lower racks were difficult to open and close and would fall off the tracks & jam up easy. The unit takes way to long to run cycles and now it just completely shut down after 4 months of use with lights blinking on and off. Technician on the way in 4 days to fix it!!!---Our old dishwasher worked so much bettter & this thing is expensive!!!
Pros: looks good
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, cheap sliding racks, buttons are quirky to engage, wash cycle to long.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We just bought this dishwasher this week and couldn't be happier. We just love the Samsung brand. At first we didn't think that it was working. It's only after it started draining that we believed that it was. It is that quiet! The one we had before was really noisy, we had to turn the TV up all the way while it was running. So far we have only used it once and I was completely satisfied. The dishes were very clean and dry. I would definitely recommend this dishwasher.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, easy to install, sleek looking

Not as good as I expected

Doesn't always clean as well as expected. Sometimes dirt left on inside of glasses. Also not as quiet as I expected. The kickplate on the bottom is too far back so it doesn't line up with the cabinets. Haven't noticed any energy savings. It is really difficult to load my dishes. I have Mikasa Italian countryside pattern.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color
Cons: Did not meet expectations, installer had trouble with leveling the back.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great dishwasher

This dishwasher does a great job. I was concerned that there was not a heated dry option, but it seems to do okay without one as long as I use the sanitize setting. No prewash necessary. Would like to have had a delay wash timer though.

This worked the first time we used it and has not work since. It starts for a few seconds and just stops even tough the cycle light is still on. It does not drain and I really don't know what to do now. hope we had gone with GE.

Extremely Quiet and Efficient

We recently replaced our old dishwasher with this unit and have been very pleased with it. It is exceptionally quiet and does a great job cleaning dishes. So, it has definitely been an asset to the kitchen especially during the holidays. We look forward to using this for many years to come!!
Pros: quiet and efficient, easy to use
Cons: dishes still come out wet even after drying cycle
