Can't even tell it's running

We bought this dishwasher to replace a 15 year old model that sounded like a jet engine. After researching online and looking at several different models, we decided to purchase the Samsung because of their great reputation in the electronics world. We also liked the fact that there is not an exposed heating element on the bottom of the dishwasher to melt our plastic items.
We've only had this for a couple of weeks and have no complaints. It's very very quiet, has so much room that we're going to have to purchase more silverware, and best of all it looks very clean and modern with the stainless finish.
The reviews I read said that this dishwasher was quiet but I can't believe how quiet it is. My one year old little girl can take a nap in the room right next to it while it's running. We are very pleased and would buy this item again in the future.
Pros: quiet
I would recommend this to a friend!

Overall the dishwasher performs well and the items come out clean. The one major positive is how quiet this machine is. That alone is worth the price. There are a couple of drawbacks to the dishwasher: 1) bottom rack can get jammed when pushing back in, and 2) the knives when placed in the holes of the utensil basket can hit the upper water arm. But neither of these are big drawbacks.
Pros: super quiet
Cons: lower rack can bind on side wen puhing in
I would recommend this to a friend!

Worked fine for the first few months...

Bought this dishwasher several months ago and at first it worked perfectly. Initially, my only problem was that the right side upper rack tines are not completely vertical but angled. This made it hard to position glasses on the tines but we were able to do it. Then after month or two both the upper and lower racks were not sliding properly, after looking at the racks, I saw that the wheels and upper rack extension bar were sticking, even when there were no dishes in the rack. The sticking wheels and rack caused the glasses on the upper tines to rattle around and so we've broken about a dozen glasses. Also in the last few weeks the dishes have not been coming out clean. We pre-rinse everything, use a rinse aid and run the hot water in the sink before turning the unit on but still the cleaning ability is hit or miss - mostly miss.
Cons: Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I hate everything about this stupid thing

Don't waste your money on this hunk of junk. The racks are poorly designed and don't hold dishes well. The lower rack is not attached and can be hard to put back in place. The start button needs to be massaged for several seconds before it actually starts. The clean light only stays on for ten minutes, rendering it worthless. It is not a standard hook-up, so you can expect to spend a lot of time and money reconfiguring your intake and output hoses before you can hook it up.
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great looking, cleans well... but the concealed vent at the bottom of the door seems to cause condensation to drip onto the floor. Now we have a bleached out spot the size of a silver dollar.
Pros: Inexpensive, works great; looks great
Cons: drips on floor
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Dishwasher is VERY quiet while cleaning dishes. Design of dishwasher allows you to fully utilize space, something our old dishwasher didn’t do. Dishes can be slightly wet if you do not apply jetdry or use the sanitize setting. Keep in mind this dishwasher does not contain a heat dry option. Overall, for the price, we got a great deal and I would recommend this to someone in the market who doesn’t want to pay a premium but get a decent deal.
