I have heard for years that a water pik would make a difference in my dental care, but could not imagine having one. Well, my dental hygentist convinced me that I needed one to help prevent further gum problems or I could start losing teeth. I cannot believe what a difference the water pik makes in keeping the tarter from building up and even removing "stuff" after I have flossed. Why I did not get one sooner is beyond me.

I bought this within the last month for myself and my wife. I am not thrilled with it as I believe my flossing does a better job. The water amount is limited so it has to be done fast which then increases the amount of time to clean your gums and teeth each time it has to be filled. I you forget to turn it off when emptying the way er from your mouth, it sprays all over the place. I find it more annoying than positive. On the other hand, my wife likes it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this about a month ago and it is wonderful. It cleans my teeth so much better than dental floss. I find it to be amazing it was so good for me. I have pockets and I bought the pocket pic and I've been using that also. I think that's helping my pockets as well.
