My wife purchased this for me as she did not want more clutter on the counter. Unfortunately, it not only stays out on the counter it’s hard to maneuver, not very powerful, runs out of water before I’m done, and can only go few days without recharging. Probably good for travel rather than every day use.
Received for Christmas - thought initially I'd never use it. Tried it once and am hooked! Couldn't believe the new level of "clean" my teeth felt after using it the first time. One improvement needed, though - a flexible tube extension that plugs into the top of the Waterpik unit and that the appliance then connects to. That way I could leave the Waterpik unit next to the sink and maneuver the appliance around my teeth and gums while connected to the flexible tubing. Less weight, less water mess!
The waterpik that I had purchased in 1991 finally gave up. The current pik is very handy but does not seem to have significant power. But I do enjoy using.
I like the idea of the more compact size it takes less counter space. That’s the good feature of it. However I don’t like holding on to the bulky base while using it. I have never had one before so do not have anything else to compare this one too. I feel the power isn’t that much on high but it could be just how it’s suppose def to be. Can’t say I’m sold on it but it was a gift so I will keep it.
