I am very disappointed with the design and effectiveness of my Waterpik. The design makes it difficult to maneuver in my mouth. I also question the results after a cleaning. I will continue to use the product and may become more efficient.

There's a short learning curve where you'll eventually learn to lean over the sink and keep the waterpik's water resevior perpendicular to the counter; if you till it too much it won't pump out water. If you turn the pick around with the controls facing you, it's a little easier to use but you might accidentally nudge the controls (I've done it with the speed control). It seems to hold a charge for a while but I recharge mine weekly. I haven't had any problems with water calcification but the instruction manual has some cleaning tips.
