For the price, this little machine works very well for me. Until now, I thought nothing could beat the thoroughness of flossing, but this instrument, I clearly see, gets out a lot more--probably as close to 100% as is possible. It takes a cleaning or two to learn how to position the tips in the top mount, but when you do, you can actually get a thorough cleaning very quickly and accurately--it beats flossing. I have these deep places between my teeth that are the results (I guess) of continued replacement of crowns, etc., and importantly, this Waterpik thoroughly cleans out those holes that (I learned from my dentist) I had been completely or mostly missing even though I brush and floss regularly. The only problem I have had is trying to feel the little special sprayer meant specifically for small holes. It's probably effective, but I pretty much have decided the general insert does a good enough job of reaching deep into those pockets, so it is the only insert I generally use. I will use the WP-450 or another form of Waterpik for the rest of my life.
Wish I had spent the money on the tank model instead. I need to refill at least once if not 3 times to get the results I want
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for the review. The reservoir is intentionally smaller for this model as it is designed to be more compact for travel and/or for those with little counter space.
I hv never used a waterpik but after hvg periodontal surgery decided to get one. The 450 is easy to use. Its light charge last about 2 weeks. It streams well The only flaw to me is it seems a little loud. However not having used one before i hv nothing to compare it with.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this like 1 year ago. I was very happy with my water floss, but now it’s not charging. I bought it from Turkey but I live in Bangkok now. What can I do to fix it? I can’t even buy new one, because it’s not easy to find new products in this area of the world.
