Only had it about 3 weeks, seems to work great, won't know for sure until next dental appointment. Would help if the WP-450 had an LED indicating state of charge of the battery.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I've owned several Waterpiks over the years, and I've always been very happy with them. But I wanted one that took up less counterspace, so I purchased the WP462-W, and I'm so sorry I did. The water pressure is nonexistent, even when fully charged, and there's no difference in speed between the high and low settings. I would recommend buying a larger and more powerful model.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We are sorry that you are unhappy with the unit. There should be a noticeable difference in the high/low setting. We would like to get more information about the issue and open a warranty claim if necessary. Please call customer service at 1-800-525-2774 Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm Mountain Time. I recently bought this product as advised by my dental hygienist. I'm still trying to figure it out, but so far, it's helping me with any food between my implant and bridges.
My other Waterpik was about 1 1/2 years old and then died. The new one has nice features and is a little more powerful than the other one. I like it better.
I purchased this a couple months ago and it was the best purchase. This is much better than string flossing as string flossing can loosen up caps. Love this and so does my husband.
I bought this as an oral surgeon suggested I get a waterpik device. When charged, it does shoot water out pretty fast, even in slow mode. I am unsure how it compares to others and when one should use the different selections. I also am unsure how long the battery lasts till it decreases in flow, but it seems to be a nice waterpik for the everyday person.
The Waterpik, for me, is difficult to hold as I have a small hand. Also, I felt I had to refill the container three times before I was comfortable that it did the job. It's good for trips instead of using the regular size Waterpik.
