I have a big boxy one from about 20 years ago, I thought this one would clean better and take up much less room on the counter. It does take up less room but the spray is much messier than the old one. This one is packed away and old one back out.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not useful for Travel outside North America

Please note that if you are buying this or the WP-460 for travel to Europe, you will be greatly disappointed since it cannot be recharged while you are abroad, even with a converter. Note that in the small print Waterpik tells you that this can only be used in North America, but they should also tell you that it can't be used anywhere in Europe even with a converter. In our opinion, this is very shabby practice since virtually every electrical device can be used in Europe with a converter.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We apologize for the confusion It is indicated in the instruction manual, on the charger, on the bottom of the box and on the WP-450 product page from our website that the unit should only be plugged into a voltage system of 120VAC/60Hz. However, we do have several models that can be used internationally. You can view them by following the link below. Thank you for your feedback. You should get 8-10 uses out of the product before needing to be recharged. It does carry a two year warranty. We would be happy to look into this for you.
