The battery does not recharge. This is the second one we purchased and have had the same bad experience with the battery not recharging.

the WP-450 is an affordable, compact, and good water flosser... I cannot believe how clean my teeth&gums feel after using it! My only complaint is that the unit does not come equipped with an indicator light to indicate that the flosser is fully charged... That said, this model is a good buy for the money spent... Good Bye to most off my floss picks!

I was advised by my dentist to start using a water flosser/pick after my dental implant/crown procedure. I purchased the Waterpik Water Flosser and have been amazed at the results. I floss first then use the Waterpik. It's amazing how much more debris is washed out. I recommend this device and would purchase it again.

This is a great travel flosser; small enough to nestle between my clothes in my suitcase to protect it from damage. I do have to usually fill the tank twice since it is smaller that my electric Waterpik tank. It only has 2 speeds and the highest is not as powerful as my electric Waterpik. That said, I knew this based on reviews, still bought it, and it does the job! I just make one more go around than with the electric one and I'm satisfied with what it does. Recommend!

Great for orthodontic appliances! My daughter is figuring out how to best use this to help keep her orthodontic expander free of food every night. It has quite a learning curve; however, weʻre figuring it out and itʻs working well. I just wish that it could be used at a better angle, or even horizontally.

Battery slows after two times of use. It needs to be charged after 4 minutes of run time. Lithium ion battery would be nice.

It was perfect product I need for my teeth and gum! Only one con of this product is that it always runs out of water fast so I had to refill the tank several times until I complete water flossing my teeth. Maybe I'm slow and new at this product but I do notice water uses up fast when I use the product.
