I'm so glad that I bought this. This device keeps my mouth clean. It took a few uses to learn how to use it properly.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Needs battery charged light on water pik

I bought this model because I travel for business / personal rather than a counter top model which we had growing up. Unless you hold your elbow higher than the Water Pik,, water runs down your arm and onto the counter top. Still is effective at flossing tho it takes almost 2 tank fulls to clean upper and lower teeth front and back. Would highly suggest adding a charging / charged light to the device like Sonicare has on it's toothbrushes.
I bought this about a month ago, per my daughters recommendation, she works for a maxillofacial surgeon and has seen some horrible affects from people not flossing on a daily basis. I wish I would have bought one years ago, it sure beats flossing by hand. After I brush and floss with this WP-450, I feel like I just left the dentist office. Also my teeth look and feel fantastic! Sincerely! I will use a Water Pic for the rest of my life.

Great idea, poor design for one-handed user

String flossing is not possible. It takes two hands to remove the reservoir and then it is difficult. There is no light when charging to visually know it is charging. Without a visual light, How does a user know the battery status and if it is fully charged?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello Kate - We're sorry that you are not happy with the unit. We recommend charging it overnight (8-10 hours) after every 6-8 reservoirs of water.
