I found this to function adequately; however, due to the small filling hole in the reservoir, it is difficult to fill, difficult to fill completely and impossible to clean. Who knows what nasty bacteria are forming in that small-holed reservoir that takes forever to dry. I like to add mouthwash to the reservoir and it really needs a funnel to do so, but I can't hold the reservoir at that side angle and pour liquid into it while steadying a funnel. Besides, I don't want to fuss with funnel at my bathroom sink. It has two levels of intensity, but on the higher intensity, I have to fill the reservoir twice to finish cleaning my teeth. I didn't return it because I needed one in my travel trailer, but there are better brands/models out there.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We are sorry that you are unhappy with the product. To clean the reservoir, you can run it through the dishwasher on the top rack (be sure to turn the heated dry cycle off) or wash it in the sink with a mild dish soap. A bottle brush can be used if you feel necessary. We also recommend running distilled white vinegar and warm water through the unit once a month. If you are using mouthwash, be sure to follow these instructions. https://www.waterpik.com/oral-health/product-support/articles/waterpik-mouthwash/
I really like this product but I wanted to buy the toothbrush attachment but when I went on their website to register my waterpic, I saw that they discontinued it....bummer

We apologize for any confusion. The TB-100E Toothbrush tip has not been discontinued. You can view the tip here:https://www.waterpik.com/oral-health/tips-accessories/TB-100E/
It is just a mess trying to do this - if I don't keep it in my mouth the water shoots out and when I do keep it in my mouth, the water still spews out of my mouth even using the low poweer
