I like this waterpik because it is cordless and takes up no space unlike a plugged in waterpik with a water tank, especially for those of us with small bathrooms and no shelf space.

The WP-450 is very convenient - I used to have the model with a water tank and little hose and after I used it I had to wash and clean everything off. Now with the WP-450, I'm done and clean up is much easier. One warning however: because of the additional weight (holding the whole thing in your hand) you'll need both hands to guide it to protect your gums. However, that is a minor inconvenience. I really prefer this type of model, and it will be easier to carry in a suitcase or backpack as well.

My new WP-450 "flosser" developed a problem after just a few days of use. I called the toll-free "help line" for assistance. The technician who answered my call led me through a series of tests and determined the unit was defective. A new replacement unit was sent out by Priority Mail and received in just 2-3 days. It works perfectly! It's good to know there are still a few companies that have excellent customer service and will stand behind the quality of their products.

The reservoir is small, usually fill it twice. Have to hold it upright so difficult to do back of bottom teeth. But portable.
